How do I create a Trybe?

Find people you think you'd get along with through the discover tab and save their profiles. Once you found your people, invite them to your private Trybe!

How do I join other Trybes?

Find other Trybes through the Trybes tab. Read through their descriptions, check out member profiles, and click 'join' to be part of a new trybe! Anyone can join Public Trybes, but Private Trybes are more selective, so you might not be able to join every single Trybe.

How do I match with other Trybes?

To match with other Trybes, make sure you are switched into a Private Trybe. On your homepage, click on the 'Matches' tab, and then click on 'Make New Matches. View different Trybes and swipe on ones you'd like to match with.If they like you too, then you've matched!

What is the difference between a Public and Private Trybe?

A Private Trybe is invite-only and requires a selective process before a new member is admitted. This ensures that people on the app are able to connect with people they want to connect with. These trybes are smaller and have the ability to match with other Private Trybes. A Public Trybe is available for all to join, and is intended to be a place where you can start chats about interests, events, or meetups.

What is a Join Request?

A Join Request is a message request that you send to a Private Trybe you want to join. This starts a selective process where all group members of the Private Trybe must accept you as a new member into the group. While this leads to a more exclusive experience, it helps you be more intentional with which groups you join, and focus on connecting with more like-minded people.
